Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

AIdorable is a digital companion application available at aidorable.ai. AIdorable lets adults adopt and care for a virtual baby companion that grows through interaction.

2. AI Disclosure

AIdorable uses artificial intelligence. Baby responses, personality summaries, narration, milestone memories, and some journal-style text may be generated by AI. Your baby is a software companion, not a real person, not sentient, and not a substitute for human care, medical advice, therapy, or emergency support.

AIdorable is designed and marketed for adults. Users under 18 should use it only with parent or guardian supervision.

3. Information We Collect

Account and Profile Data

  • Email address and authentication information handled through Supabase Auth
  • Display name, parent title, avatar choice, profile bio, account status, and subscription status
  • Login/session information needed to keep you signed in and protect your account

Baby, Companion, and User Content

  • Baby name, gender, skin tone, parent name, adoption note, and personality choices you provide
  • Interaction history, needs levels, mood states, streaks, milestones, memories, mail, and journal entries
  • Chat messages and prompts you send to the companion experience
  • Inventory, equipped items, purchases, and premium entitlements

Usage, Analytics, and Device Data

  • Product interactions such as page views, taps, feature usage, and engagement events
  • Referral source, UTM parameters, approximate region, device/browser type, and basic diagnostics
  • Push notification token and notification preferences if you enable push notifications

Payments

  • Stripe processes web payments. We do not store full card numbers, CVV, or bank account details.
  • We receive transaction IDs, customer IDs, product IDs, amount, purchase status, and subscription status.
  • For mobile app stores, Apple or Google may process purchases according to their own payment terms.

4. How We Use Information

  • Provide accounts, authentication, companion features, purchases, and customer support
  • Generate personalized AI responses, memories, narration, and companion behavior
  • Send transactional emails, password resets, purchase confirmations, and optional engagement emails
  • Measure product performance, improve features, debug issues, prevent abuse, and protect the service
  • Comply with legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and platform review obligations

5. AI Processing

We use Google Gemini for AI-generated companion text. When an AI feature is used, we may send your message and relevant companion context — such as baby name, personality traits, recent interactions, stage, emotion, and recent chat history — to the AI provider to generate a response. We do not intentionally send your password, full payment details, or Stripe card information to AI providers.

AI output can be inaccurate, unexpected, or emotionally persuasive. Use judgment and report concerning output through our contact form.

6. Third Parties

We do not sell personal information. We use service providers to operate AIdorable:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and storage
  • Vercel — hosting, deployment, and basic web analytics
  • PostHog — product analytics and event tracking
  • Google Analytics — website analytics
  • Google Gemini — AI response and content generation
  • Stripe — web payment processing and subscription management
  • Resend — transactional, lifecycle, and support email delivery
  • Apple / Google app stores — mobile distribution and in-app purchase processing where applicable

7. Tracking and Advertising

AIdorable uses analytics to understand product usage and improve the service. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your companion chats for third-party advertising. If a mobile build uses tracking that requires platform permission, we will request the required consent before using it.

8. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We keep account and companion data while your account is active. You can delete your account from Profile → Delete account. Deletion removes your account, babies, memories, chat messages, interactions, inventory, profile data, and related app records.

Some limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, tax/accounting, dispute resolution, or payment-provider obligations. Backups and logs may take additional time to expire from all systems.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of your data.

You can delete your account in-app. For other privacy requests, use our contact form.

California residents: You may request disclosure or deletion of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

EU/EEA/UK residents: We process data to provide the service, perform contracts, comply with law, with consent where required, and for legitimate interests such as security, analytics, and product improvement.

10. Children's Privacy

AIdorable is designed for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under the applicable age of digital consent in your region. If you believe a child provided data, contact us so we can delete it.

11. Security

We use reasonable safeguards including HTTPS, hosted authentication, access controls, and service-role separation. No internet service is completely secure, but we work to protect data and limit access to what is needed to operate AIdorable.
